Over the last few months, certain footballers who were seen as role models to many people, have been exposed to the limelight after committing immoral and disturbing acts of abuse against humans and animals.
The three names talked about most were Mason Greenwood, who abused Harriet Robson and forced sex upon her in a chilling voice note that Harriet recorded herself. Benjamin Mendy, who's been accused of nine accounts of rape and now Kurt Zouma, who was seen aggressively kicking and smacking his cat.
Yesterday, on the 7th of February 2022, a video emerged from the Sun newspaper. In the video that Kurt Zouma's brother filmed, Yoan Zouma, you can see Kurt picking his Bengal cat and kicking it across the kitchen, following up by throwing a shoe in the direction of the cat. Not long after that, he was seen smacking his cat on the kitchen Island.

Yoan Zouma, filmed the 27-year-old abusing the cat inside the defender's home just after West Ham's 2-1 win against Kidderminster in the 4th round of the FA Cup. Yoan posted this video to his Snapchat on Sunday Afternoon.
The RSPCA and the Surrey police are coming together to launch an investigation over this issue, despite reports earlier saying that the Met police won't investigate this issue any further. The RSPCA condemned this incident as 'very upsetting' and also stated that 'we will always look into and, if necessary, investigate any complaints made about animal welfare.'
The Frenchman who played numerous seasons in Chelsea, who got sold for £30 million, came out and apologised straight after the video emerged all over social media.
'I also want to say how deeply sorry I am to anyone who was upset by the video. I would like to assure everyone that our two cats are perfectly fine and healthy.'
'They are loved and cherished by our entire family, and this behaviour was an isolated incident and will not happen again.'
West Ham also released a statement according to the incident, stating.
'West Ham United unreservedly condemns the actions of our player, Kurt Zouma, in the video that has circulated.'
'We have spoken to Kurt and will be dealing with the matter internally, but we would like to make it clear that we no way condone cruelty towards animals.'
Although at this moment in time it looks unlikely Kurt Zouma will get prosecuted for his actions, he may have to pay a hefty fine and is already dealing with the repercussions of the media's reaction towards the bizarre and shocking video that circulated around football fans timelines and feeds on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook yesterday.
