Arsenal are linked to 27-year-old Mexican winger Hirving Lozano from Napoli as they look to strengthen their attacking line.

As we go into the fifth day of the January transfer window, another name is added to the list of personnel we’re interested in. First it was Mudryk, then it was Joao Felix, after that Declan Rice and now Napoli wide-man and Mexican pace machine, Hirving Lozano according to repubblica.
The Mexican winger has a contract running up to June 2024 with the current Serie A league leaders, but with the likes of Politano, Raspadori and Kvaratskhelia all being in fine form for Gli Azzuri, the Mexican winger is now more of a rotational player for the blues and is looking to explore his options elsewhere.
It has been said that negotiations of a contract renewal at Napoli have been going poorly and he could possibly ‘Leave at the end of the season.’ If not during the current January transfer window.
Hirving Lozano has repeatedly expressed his ambitions to play in the Premier League in the past and his wish may now come true. Arsenal would face stiff competition with rich and ambitious Newcastle United to finalise a deal for the Mexican, but with Chelsea in the race for Mudryk and the small possibility on missing out on the speedy Ukranian, Hirving Lozano as a back-up makes plenty of sense.
Hirving Lozano is known for creating attacking overloads down the channels and knowing when and when to not move centrally, from his smart thinking and lightening pace, this can create quick transitions and deadly counter attacks at the perfect moments.
Where would Hirving Lozano fit in our team?
Being linked with a player who plays in a similar position to Bukayo Saka, questions will be asked where would Hirving Lozano fit into the Arsenal squad. Mudryk would be the perfect player on paper, due to playing in a similar position to Martinelli, allowing Martinelli to move to centre forward position, but again that counts diligence in Nketiah’ current place in the team. Short term, Mudryk/Lozano would be perfect with Gabriel Jesus out for up to three months with a knee injury, despite already being off crutches and exercising again, but long term, although this allows squad depth, this will ultimately give Mikel Arteta a headache when choosing a starting XI, which isn’t always a bad thing.
How much would ‘Chucky’ set us back?
According to TransferMarkt, the 27-year-old has a transfer value of €28m (£24.6m) which is more then three times lower then Shaktar Donetsk’ asking price for Mudryk (€100m).
As the news for Chucky has only just reached the surface, a figure for the central American hasn’t been discussed yet, but there is a chance we might have to wait till the end of the Serie A season to get him signed up in North London.

Mudryk Or

Interesting article! I'd still prefer Mudryk though :)
