Since the day Arsenal signed Willian, he has gained a lot of hate from Arsenal fans. After grabbing two assists against Fulham at the beginning of the season, his 25 games after this were not the best, resulting in lots of people trolling the Brazilian winger.
It got to the point where an Arsenal fan created a Twitter account called 'Days Until Willian's Contract Ends.' On this account, the user tweets the number of days left on the ex Chelsea wingers contract. Only recently, the account tweeted "STOP THE COUNT!" after a string of recent performances from the Brazilian.

Willian is known as quite a good passer of the ball, making pin-point passes quite often. Whilst at Chelsea, he was a great set-piece taker, scoring some beautiful free-kicks throughout his Chelsea days. The last main strength he has is crossing the ball, which comes in handy when being a winger.
His style-of-play is mostly playing one-twos with layoffs and playing cross-field balls when available to do so.
In his last four games, he has bagged himself an assist vs Benfica, Burnley, Leicester, and Olympiacos. He's been getting vital assists at vital times and has made inform Pepe struggle to get into the starting line-up.
As well as this, he is also Gunner's top assister so far this season with a total of seven assists to his name.
Despite this, there are still Arsenal fans that get annoyed seeing Willian start over the likes of Pepe and Martinelli, but recently his proved to Arteta and the fans that he is a key, influential player to the squad.
On top of this, Arsenals fans are still not happy with Willian being in the squad and the agenda of him being an 'awful signing' is still very much in place.
Arsenal fans complain that the Brazilian doesn't put enough hard work into games and randomly pops up with an assist out of no where. They also say the assists he is racking up don't mirror the fact he is a poor footballer and is finished. Still, no faith is shown from a handful of Arsenal supporters.

But still, this is quite the turnaround from the start of the season. Reports even came out that he was forced out of Chelsea and wasn't comfortable with joining Arsenal, which ultimately sparked even more hate from Arsenal supporters.
Arsenal grabbed Willian on a free transfer from league rivals Chelsea. Despite it being a free signing, his contract is around £200,000 a week.
From the recent performances his been applying, ODDSbible jokingly compared Willian to Ronaldinho with a caption saying: "Willian ever since the Arsenal fan base said he was an awful signing."
With David Luiz starting a string of Arsenal fixtures, the Brazilian's words seem to be getting the best out of his counterpart.
Arsenal center-back Gabriel also seems to have a great relationship with Willian. All three of Gabriel's goals have come from a Willian assist, an underrated partnership in the Gunners ranks.
Even though his form has risen over the last month, the Brazilian is yet to score for Arsenal. As Willian is in good form, this seems more likely as the games go on. He looks set to make an impact in the North London derby on Sunday the 14th of March.
The winger has shown great mentality to come back from lots of hate and cruel words, especially after receiving some prejudiced comments on social media. From the comments made against him, he set to social media, where he wrote: "Something needs to change! The fight against racism continues."
He looks to look past these disgusting comments and continues his good form. He is also hoping he gains some faith from the Arsenal fans and doesn't end his Arsenal career negatively.
