Joe Willocks Opened With Welcome Arms!

Arsenal loanee Joe Willock joined Newcastle United on loan back in the January transfer window as he was deemed not good enough for the current Arsenal midfield. But since joining the Magpies, he has scored a goal in six consecutive games, beating the record of the late Reyes with the youngest player to score six consecutive goals.

The 21-year-old has been at Newcastle United for four months now and, his impact on the pitch with Saint-Maximin has ultimately kept the Magpies up and has completely changed the way they plan. Joe Willock called Saint-Maximin the goat after their 1-0 win against Sheffield United and, this made Newcastle fans fall further in love with Joe Willock.

Another interesting stat about the Hale End product is that since joining the Magpies, Joe Willock has now scored more open play goals than Bruno Fernandes, who is massively rated by Manchester United fans, this is a huge achievement, especially in a struggling team like Newcastle United.

After the performances that Willock keeps pulling out, the Baggies are now desperate to get his signature at the end of the season. Arsenal fans were shocked to see after the season Willock is currently having, his price tag is only set at a low £20 million and, with the performances his carrying out, Arsenal fans believe his price tag should be higher than this.

The six goals he has scored have been against Tottenham, West Ham, Liverpool, Leicester, Man City and Sheffield United. Most of the teams he has scored against have had great seasons and helped knocked Leicester and West Ham from Champions League and Europa League positions.

Fabrizio Romano reported that Arsenal has a clear position for his future though and that he's expected to return to Arsenal and have his chance with the 1st team in the pre-season. He also reported that Arteta will let him leave only if an important bid comes in for the English midfielder.

Another interesting fact is that Joe Willock also has the same amount of goals as Chelsea star boy Mason Mount, which is an incredible achievement due to Joseph Willock only joining the geordie side in January.

Joe Willock talking about the fans being back in the stadium whilst they were chanting "Joe Willock, we want you to stay," said: "The atmosphere is brilliant, it's good to play in front of the fans, I haven't played in front of them yet, so it's really good to play in front of them."

"I'm happy to see lot's of happy faces, I have been getting the goals, to be fair, but I couldn't have done it without my teammates and, we all pushed well and gave it our all today for the fans and, it's brilliant to score in front of them as well."

Alan Saint-Maximin also had something say about the Arsenal Loanee and his impact of the team so far.

"We have to buy more players like Joe, he can be great for the team and me. My relationship is good with Joe inside and outside the pitch, and you can see how that helps a team when you have players like that."

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta also commented on inform Joseph Willock and how his currently performing.

"Yes, I am really happy that things have gone so well because of the potential he has. He will come back to us, we will have a conversation with him and plan the next years for him."

After the Sheffield games, Joseph Willock tried his best to show his appriation to the fans, although his delivery was right, the way he worded what he said was funny.

"Hello Newcastle fans, I just want to say a big three points, and thank you for opening me with welcome arms, hope your happy. Come on you maggies."

Joseph Willock looks to continue his goal scoring form and try to break even more records... maybe even consecutive goal scoring record when he went 12 games in a row scoring a goal.
